We are delighted to announce that GC Fine Art and Echo Interiors have joined forces to launch Adorn London. Adorn London is a new concept in contemporary fine art and interior accessories. We have a continuously changing collection in the gallery based in the heart of Brook Green at 118 Blythe Road, London W14 0HD. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10am-7.30pm. A perfect place to fine a unique gift or bespoke something that will add charm and delight to your home. Adorn London also offers a full Interior Design Services and Art Consultancy so if you are stuck for ideas we would be delighted to help. The Summer of 2008 holds great things for GC Fine Art at Adorn London. July and August will have a collection of work by a number of artists which include watercolours by David Hawson, flower portraiture by our new artist Kirsty Lorenz, bronzes by Bibi Dutry and Jane Bristowe's fantastic animal linocuts. This is an exciting and flourishing time for GC Fine Art and the artists represented, we look forward to seeing you over the summer! As well as the continually exciting exhibitions this summer, GC Fine Art is delighted to introduce the highly acclaimed portrait artist Hugh Beattie. A Freeman of the Painter Stainers Guild and the Armed Forces Art Society, Hugh has been a commissioned artist for over 15 years. His work has recently featured is Country Life and been interviewed on Radio 4. Clients have included Baroness Thatcher and the Lord Bishop of Wichester. Hugh wittily portrays his subjects, taking the more formal, restrictive Victorian elements out of traditional classic painting. He does however use traditional classical colours and techniques in his work. His portraits are started and finished from life using natural light, with canvases that he makes himself.
